Mastering Artistic Fusion : Powering DAZ Studio Art with Adobe Photoshop and Firefly

When using DAZ Studio do you find that..
- You spend too long composing and rendering scenes?
- You rely too much on buying 3D assets that you don’t use?
- You feel limited with DAZ Studio’s performance?
- You feel your artwork from DAZ could be enriched by merging with other elements?
Combining the use of DAZ Studio and Photoshop provides wider options for your art, faster composition of your scenes and a more polished look for your completed artwork.
With the addition of Adobe’s latest suite of AI generative tools – another dimension now exists to power up your DAZ Studio renders.
Vladimir Chopine is going to show you how to composite with DAZ Studio and Photoshop so that you can:
- Make any type of element look like it belongs in a scene
- Create your scenes quicker with strategic compositing
- Benefit from a wider array of photographic, digital 2D assets and AI generated assets
- Save time with faster workflows
What will I accomplish?
The course focuses on using DAZ Studio and photoshop to create stand-out composite illustrations for web, books, and posters.
During this course, we will be working on several projects. All assets will be provided, however, you are more than welcome to use your own.
Project 1 : Fantasy – angel wings
Project 2 : Sci-fi themed project
This is for you if you want to accomplish:
- Wider control over all the elements in your scene.
- A perfect understanding of how you can naturally blend any imported elements
- Faster creation of environmental elements
- Comprehending lighting, shadows, colours and contrast for melding elements
- Make use of more costly (or high render time) DAZ Studio assets faster
- A complete strategic understanding of layers
- Bringing photos into 3D environments. Think of placing real people into digital environments, such as Stonemason sets!
- Utilising the advantage of Adobe’s Firefly AI tools into your workflow.
- How to create higher-level compositing that you could sell.
- Improving your photoshop skills and techniques to a higher level.
This course includes a deep dive on the latest Adobe Firefly generative AI models with Photoshop for compositing.
- A comparison between Adobe Photoshop’s Firefly AI and MidJourney AI, for compositing and enhancing digital artworks. What different approaches are needed?
- Key insights include the strategic use of AI for automating tasks like canvas extension and content filling, blending techniques for integrating AI-generated elements, and the importance of quality considerations such as detail enhancement and resolution maintenance.
- Creative experimentation with AI tools, highlighting the balance between AI-generated content and manual editing to achieve realistic and cohesive artistic compositions, providing a practical guide for artists interested in incorporating AI into their digital workflows.
This coaching group is designed to be hands-on with guidance throughout.

What other coaching group members are saying…
Ian Franklin
The chat rooms are so full of information! Just reading people’s questions and people’s responses, it’s an invaluable time saver! When I read the questions and their solutions it reminds me, “I would have had to go thru those hiccups myself, and there’s the solution!”. The chat room creates a great sense that you’re not alone, and it gives you a freedom to test things out and get into “trouble”. I am more than satisfied with this course. It has surpassed my expectations and more! I highly, highly recommend this type of session to anyone!
