FlowScape Masterclass : Session 1
April 2, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm BST
FreeDid you know that you could use FlowScape to build planetary systems, moonscapes, detailed indoor scenes and powerful animations as well as the typical island terrains? FlowScape has huge potential as an art tool and this introduction to our deep dive masterclass will show you some of those capabilities.
We’re very pleased to have Alan Smithee, who creates the official tutorials for FlowScape and is one of the foremost (and most popular) FlowScape artists in the community to lead this masterclass.
During this introductory session Alan will show you the build of the “floating rocks” scene (as show on the event poster) teaching along the way:-
- FlowScape Initial setup
- Navigation and camera controls
- Working with the primary set terrains
- Working with objects
- Recommended techniques for building terrains
- Image capturing and where to find the images
- Visibility layers
- Crash proof tips and saving
About the FlowScape Masterclass
The core of the Masterclass will be eight live classes where AlanSmithee is going to show you a Complete Guide to FlowScape so that you can:
- Take FlowScape to its limits for useful artistic output
- Learn all of the best FlowScape resources and tips in one place
- Import characters or props into the scene with less headaches
- Go beyond the “small island” or apparent terrain limit of FlowScape
The eight lessons will include high definition searchable recordings with captions.
This course is for you if you want to accomplish:
- A complete knowledge of FlowScape – found all in one place.
- Better control for editing terrains.
- Improved placement of assets in FlowScape
- Ridding the typical niggles experienced when using FlowScape
- Better control over importing new assets for FlowScape
- “Out of the box” thinking for using FlowScape in completely different ways
The course includes a private forum, so like-minded FlowScape artists can work together on weekly challenges. The forum will be used for questions and answers between the sessions and Alan will be there to support you through the 8 weeks.
