Fractal Art Workshop
Fractal art has come a long way over the years and it is gaining more attention. We’re happy to see that applications such as Mandelbulb 3D goes way beyond the kaleidoscopic, snowflake or default mandelbrot set shapes that we’ve seen in the past.
There are now a fine set of apps that allow you to experiment and explore fractal graphics in 3D. We’re seeing these being used in major motion pictures such as Hal Tenny’s work in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 or Alexis Wajsbrot (Framestore) that injected fractal designs into the Doctor Strange movie.
This webinar event is an opportunity for community members to share and explore their fractal art.
We’re happy to include a special guest fractal artist at this event:-
- Julius Horsthuis is an industry leader who specialises in creating fractal animated shorts – his work will guarantee to inspire you!
Like to start playing right now with fractal art? Try..
During this webinar session I would encourage you to:-
- Show some of your current artwork to the group. Tell us about what inspired you for your work.
- Share a current challenge where you need help to progress
- Share at least one tip or solution that could help other artists
It’s not mandatory to do the above, if you’d rather just hang with other digital artists in the room and meet like minded creatives, you’re welcome to do this as well!
You’ll have the option to share your desktop in our webinar, so you can talk about your content or artwork in this way. This will be the easiest way to share your work.
This webinar is driven by YOU, the artist. The more artists that share a challenge or tip, then the more value that can be gained by other artists.
