September 12, 2021 @ 8:00 pm - September 19, 2021 @ 9:30 pm BST

Free – $77.00
  • « VUE Variations
  • Comic Book Creation : Designing and Expressing Visual Stories »

Ever felt confused about the different texture maps used for 3D models and are still grasping what each map does? There’s also a delicate interplay between the maps, so understanding how one effects the other provides a deeper understanding for creating the texture that you want.

What about PBR textures? Can you create them without using subscription based software such as Photoshop and Substance Painter?

In this two part webinar series, SpiritFoxy shows exactly what each texture map does and how to use them in mimicking PBR-like textures. She uses a step by step approach for creating several skin and clothing texturing projects.

This webinar is for…

  • Book cover illustrators
  • Texture artists for 3D content
  • Hobbyists tweaking textures for their content
  • DAZ Studio content creators

Applications used in Sessions

  • Paintshop Pro (everything we shall do will translate to Photoshop)
  • DAZ Studio and Poser
  • Normals program from nvidia (free)

“Since this is about my life As an artist, I shall start there. My Father always said I started drawing long before I could walk. I know I have been drawing & painting as long as I can remember. I was blessed to have a Master Printer for a Father, so I was introduced to the world of commercial art at a very young age. By the age of 10 I was making my first money designing custom logo illustrations, and have never stopped.

What other fields have I delved into? My other love is the theatre & music. I have traveled around the globe as a professional singer for many years & have loved every minute of it, though I have always taken my art along with me. I have also traveled around the globe as a member of a dance company. What kind of dance? I have been involved in a number of dance companies, mainly ballet and I had the honour of being a lead dancer in a Mexican folklore dance company.

Training you ask? I have attended Art School. I have college degrees in the following fields: A major in Fine Art & The Arts, with minors in Dance, Architectural Design, Fashion Design, Color Theory & the Culinary Arts, along with many certificates of achievement in many areas, I am a curious soul, always learning new things.”
