Visual Narratives Workshop

January 26, 2020 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm GMT

Free – $15.00
  • « DAZ Studio – The Complete Guide to Iray Indoor Lighting
  • DAZ Studio FIGHT SCENES : The Vital Creative Guide »

This is a great opportunity to connect, share, learn and be inspired with other digital artists, regardless of the digital art software you have.

Connect

Creating digital art is a fulfilling, stimulating, frustrating and at the same time isolated process. It’s possible to spend months in front of your PC in the revelry of rendering without meeting another soul that understands what the heck you are doing. Let’s fix that by connecting you to other artists in real time that can really appreciate your work.

Inspire

Art is about imagination and freedom, away from rules and rigid constraints. Get new perspectives and ideas to think outside the box and feed that liberty. Expand your horizons and learn from other artist’s projects that give you new seeds of inspiration.

Share

In our workshop webinars, we’ve made it easy for you to share your own screen to talk about your work. Even if you don’t have a microphone you can use the instant chat box to describe your creativity and muse

Learn

Digital art software have all kinds of spectacular widgets, buried functions, super plugins and undiscovered checkboxes that may make your artwork “pop” or be created eight times faster….If only you knew. Bring a tip that you’ve learned to share with other artists. The simplest tip could save hours of work for someone else on their creative journey.

Workshop Content

Artwork telling a story is a challenging and yet fulfilling project. There’s a large amount of creative elements to consider!

This workshop allows you to connect with similar creative minds, discovering tips, workflows, challenges and successes.

Amongst other subjects we could talk about:-

  • Render tips
  • Lighting
  • Scripting
  • The backstory of your artwork.
  • Character artwork
  • Composition
  • Workflows
  • Composition
  • Text
  • Speech bubbles
  • Cover artwork
  • Where to sell or distribute your art

During this webinar session I would like to encourage you to:-

  • Show some of your current artwork to the group. Tell us about what inspired you for your work.
  • Share a current challenge where you need help to progress
  • Share at least one tip or solution that could help other artists

It’s not mandatory to do the above, if you’d rather just hang with other digital artists in the room and meet like minded creatives, you’re welcome to do this as well!

You’ll have the option to share your desktop in our webinar, so you can talk about your content or artwork in this way. This will be the easiest way to share your work.

You can register free to enter the webinar (standard registration), though if you’d like to have the webinar HD quality recording then use the premium registration.

This webinar is driven by YOU, the artist. The more artists that share a challenge or tip, then the more value that can be gained by other artists.
