DAZ Studio 3Delight : Render Engine Workshop

November 22, 2020 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm GMT

Free – $25
  • « Poser 12 : NEW version with feature set demonstrated
  • PRIME POSES : Community Workshop »

When using 3Delight do you struggle with your renders and characters looking just “flat” without so much sense of depth?

DAZ Studio includes the 3Delight render engine, which is a viable alternative to Iray when used for certain circumstances. This render engine continues to provide some powerful features. You can get impressive artwork using the standard 3DL and shaders, but it does require a deeper understanding of lighting and the shaders.

In this webinar, Karl Knarr will explain the light sources available in 3Delight, tricks for realism and advanced features like shadow controls and targeting light sources for specific surfaces.

There is still an active core of 3Delight users and if you are one of them we would like to also make this a community webinar and also invite you to share :-

  • Your own valuable 3Delight tips.
  • Your best 3DL artwork
  • Any recommended resources

Message me if you have a tip in mind.

Who is this Class for?

  • DAZ Studio artists wanting to learn the 3DL engine as an alternative choice
  • Artists or animators who want faster rendering options
  • Artists who create non photo realistic characters and scenes
  • DAZ Studio artists who don’t have an NVIDIA graphics card.

Premium Ticket

The premium ticket includes the HD webinar recording of this event,  a bonus 2 hour community workshop on Iray solutions and a PDF magazine themed on Render Engines.
